Maple in Kakariko
For Writer! This is his character from the Gaming Guardians roleplaying forums, Maple Euron:
The great part about this project is that I got to read adventure logs from Maple’s previous missions. Entertaining! And it really helped me sympathize with the guy (even if I laughed at his misfortune once or twice). 
The background was a bit of a challenge. Hopefully it’s recognizeable as the village from the N64 game, without being quite as polygonal. XD

Horray! Kakariku Village! Plus one of the awesome kuccos! Heh, I remember when I would slice around those chickens and get them all to try and kill me. Good times. ^_^

Haha, good times indeed. ^^ …Though I remember getting stuck in the Kakariko well with an angry chicken horde that knocked me down every time I tried to climb out… those times weren’t so good.
(In all other cases, it was totally worth it.)

…I wonder if this was a subconscious influence when I started drawing Joe in the new version. XD
