Hey, so people have been asking fun questions on Formspring! And I’ve been having fun writing answers! But in this case, the answer that occurred works better as a picture than as a paragraph.

I wonder how the gang would react to the current “silly bandz” craze…

For Iroke! Who wanted to see Gauth and Rii (her OC) having a romantic picnic/tea party while Kiku pines in the background:
Rii was a lot of fun to draw. (And I have to say, “people being cute and happy” is one of my favorite subjects.) <3
For Drake! It’s the charismatic heroine and her bodyguard (whom we’ve met before) — now in 75% less perilous circumstances:
With dragons and other distractions averted, they now have time to become better acquainted. ^^
This was a ton of fun to shade. And once again, in the course of working on it, I discovered a few new coloring tricks and techniques — including the wonders of Gradient Maps! Oh, Gradient Maps, how did I ever paint skin tones without you?
