J16 – Cat vs. Kiku
For Xandinavian! Who wanted to see Cat (a be-clawed character from her comic, The Mages) goin’ at it with Kiku:

And when I thought, “What would be the ultimate comparative test of their unique weapons?” the answer came at once.
…I think Kiku might be disqualified for use of a non-hedge element in his sculpture.
And Gauth may want to have words about the intended function of his ribbon.

The Creator-King gazed upon the shrubbery and proclaimed it good.

Gauth may want to have words? I was gonna say!
Ms. Cat has a lot of hair. I wonder what happens when she starts fighting? It must be pretty swirly.
Have I mentioned that Kiku’s boots are fabulous?

Well, the Knights who say ‘Ni!’ would certainly approve!

I love the title the best. FULL METAL EXTREME TOPIARY SHOWDOWN indeed. ^^
Pfff, and here I thought from the title that Kiku would be battling an actual CAT. Which would have been hilarious. ;D Still, this is pretty funny. Also took me a second to realize that it looks kinda like they are sculpting each OTHER. Although Cat’s could be Michaelangelo’s David. Very nice, Aja! ;D

Does Hello Kitty have superpowers because of the ribbon, now? XD
Gotta love how proud Kiku is <3

SCQUEE. Too awesome for words! Thanks, Aja!

The ribbon can’t be a disqualifying mark. Hello Kitty needs it. She just does.
…I love the twig whiskers XD

You know, I do believe Kiku wins. Cat forgot a piece of David…a couple pieces really. *COUGH*
@Iroke: I vote YES. Hello Shrubbery has super strength. XD

@Riverfox: You got it! It’s meant to be David (albeit a rather indistinct David). XD And now I’m wondering how Kiku would fare in a fight against a real cat…
@Zhen: You’re welcome! It was fun to draw Cat. Her character design is snazzy.
@KitFang: You’re right, his feet appear to be missing entirely. Ah well. Artistic license?
*laughs at “Hello Shrubbery”* <3

Oh man. I call it a tie.

@Aja: Whoo! /o/ I am victorious! And y’know, considering the nature of the statue of David, distinct is probably better. >.>; Pfff, Kiku against a cat would be the most interesting fight ever. Of course, we all know how he did against the sheep…
