You should learn some biology before constructing your arguments. Tulsileaf can breed asexually. Noticed I used "it" instead of "he" or "she"?

But, If there's only 1 Tulsileaf, then how can it breed, even if it breeds asexually? There needs to be at least 2 Tulsileafs for them to mate.

There was a time when herds of Tulsileaf could be found throughout the northern hemisphere. Tulsileaf was a staple food for many nomadic tribes and its skin was highly prized by royalty. Over-hunting took its toll and by the mid 20th century it's conservation status was endangered. By the 21st only one known individual could be found in North America. Still there are people who wish to hunt the last of this great species. A species which was once a symbol for powerful empires of Asia. The Tulsileaf is majestic indeed.

Just because Tulsileaf was majestic does not mean that it wasn't tasty.
By the way, are you a human?

Only one is necessary for asexual reproduction.

I am under no obligation to answer that question. As for whether Tulsileaf is tasty, I believe I have answered that already. The law merely forbids you from killing him. You are free to eat him as long as he does not die. Except, of course, cruelty laws might come into factor. I'll have to get back to you on this. Here's my card, contact me later, Amarath.

*grabs Tulsileaf and hides him in her lab* I think you'd better hide now they've decided it's okay to eat you. I'll keep them out for as long as I can.

Clearly, the lawyer is a phoenix, so unfortunately you don't have much of leg to stand on in your Ad Hominem attack (Damn hominems!). However, I don't believe phoenixes are allowed to practice law, so the good Mr/Ms/Mq Wright might not have a leg to stand on either (Yumm... Legs!).
Anyway, I need to point out that a Tulsileaf is not a complete organism, it is merely a part of a plant, and therefore debate about killing it is a moot point. You can't technically kill a maple leaf, but you can eat it. You will remember the 2004 case of Le Beaux vs. the Government of Canada, wherein the UN's Ultrasupreme Court decided that laws banning the killing of a leaf are invalid, and ever since then, the enforcement of such a law has been considered a war crime.
And whether a plant species has a leaf population of one or zero is of absolutely no biological importance; what matters to rebound is the seed population. Mq. Wright apparently doesn't know biology either. Need I remind you all that Tulsiseeds are numerous, and available for a fair price at any good gardening store and last for centuries without losing their viability for growing new Tulsiplants with dozens of delicious leaves for per plant. These seeds can last quite a long time given the right conditions, and once you plant them, they grow like weed. And I'm of the opinion that if modern people ate the delicious leaves of the Tulsi, they would put strong support for public and private programs to re-bound the Tulsiplant population, such as the production of Tulsi Reserves in Thailand, and tax incentives for those of us attempting to grow Tulsi in our closets.

I'm sorry Mr. Brady, but you are mistaken. A quick check in Harvard's Bestiary Record, available at any well stocked public library, shows Tulsileaf is a grass type pokémon. It is named for the photosynthesizing structure on its head, which resembles the more populous and much less valuable tulsi plant. Therefore Le Beaux vs. the Government of Canada does not apply, Mr. Brady or shall I say ... Green Giant. It is well known you stand to profit over the sales of the leaves of the tulsi plant. A rise in Tulsileafs' availability would open a new market threatening yours. Your deception will not work here.

Wait...
Tulsileafs a vegetable?
I vote we remove life support and let him go with dignity. There's just no sense hunting a vegetable.

Everyone is edible. Even I'm edible, but that, children is called cannibalism and is frowned upon in most societies.
