I like it. But I think you need some shading trick around his feet to indicate that they're further back than everything else, and his left hand needs some work.

Oh god, Darkwing Duck. My love for that cartoon cannot be expressed in mere squeals and emoticons. It makes me wants to break out a screaming 1980's heavy metal guitar solo.

The one thing I love about art is that you can always improve. And in doing so you can notice the difference.. And in some cases, it's drastic.
Here was Princess Peach I drew back in '09 I believe.
Which is not to shabby in and of itself.
This was the Peach I did last week.

My first piece of art for this new year..
Patrick Star frolicking through Bikini Bottom
It is also one of the rare times that I have done a background with the picture. Which, really, makes the picture complete. Though I think the sky part is a little to "bland" with comparison to the rest. I am really more impressed with my coral I made on top of that rock there.
As always critiques are welcome. |

Cute! I've never watched Spongebob, but I recognize that guy. XD
You're right, the background adds a lot of interest. I like those purple buildings in the distance.
