Som I talk to stuffed animals and my depictions of characters from books when I'm bored/lonely. Does anyone else? It's extremely fun to make up conversations and personalities for the stuffed animals, and the chracters are fun to act out. My favorite is my Stuffed Koalla bear Roger. He's extremely interesting once you get to know him, but he cheats at cardgames. (namely poker) |

Darn cheating koalas. They're too clever by half.
...I talk to my birds. Does that count? _________________ "The one concession a sane man will never yield the universe is that of considering it seriously."

Yeah, I talk to my cats. And maybe a comment or two to my old teddy bear whenever I see him. |

I don't think pets count...what pet owner DOESN'T talk to their pet? XD
I like to talk to my computer at home and the copy machine at work. Sometimes you have to coax copy machines into doing what you want. >.> They're very sensitive. _________________ Wiglaf & Mordred |

I used to talk to my car and computer and such with phrases like "You damn machine! Why don't you start?!" For the past year or so, I've been much more polite to them. |

You mean there's people who don't do that?!
Yup. All the time. ^_^
The most common is probably "Und bist du nicht willig, so brauch ich Gewalt!" - "And if you're not willing, I shall use force." (that's the literal translation. The adaptation would be "And if thou'rt unwilling, then force I'll employ." It's one of the more well known lines from the German poem "Der Erlkönig" ["The Erlking"], though the entire poem is rather well known, I believe. ), when something doesn't want to go the way I want. I talk to my Aloe, Chuck, too.

I blame all this on Aja....i've started talking to my desktop for which she drew for me! I used to use some not too nice words to talk to my computer but now I will say "night guys" when I shut down my computer....to the people on my desk top!

I mostly stick to English, except when I'm speaking to lab rodents, then it's mostly Norwegian. |

Our printer, which I refer to as the evil machine from the deep abys of doom, is verry stuborn, and likes to destroy my schoolwork. So whenever It stops working properly, I start to threaten it with "Holy" ink cartriges, and the like. Actually I threaten all the electronic devices around my house when they stop working. Strangely enough, it actually works. |

Now that you mention it, I seem to recall threatening my computer with a squirt gun back in 2000, when the old dial-up modem was being particularly laggy. And it did work. XD
I'm nicer to it now, though. I always give it a pat when I turn it off for the night. _________________ "The one concession a sane man will never yield the universe is that of considering it seriously."
