Thanks for the kind words, everyone.
I just hate being unemployed, I hate looking for a job, I hate the interviews, the cover letters, the resumes. I hate feeling useless, I hate feeling like I should be doing something more when there isn't anything more I can do. I hate vacuuming the floor for the third time in a week to try to get my mind off the fact that I don't have anything else to do. I hate the way that spending any time on my hobbies make me feel worse because it's time I'm not looking for a job, or applying for a job even when I've got no where else to look. I hate not being able to sleep, or eat. I hate waiting for the next UI check to hit my account. I hate interviewers and their stupid questions, I hate trying to figure out what they're actually asking or looking for. I hate the fact that they're judging me, I hate being told that I'm not good enough to do the job.
There is nothing about this that I enjoy. _________________

Sorry about that... Bit of a stress break down on my part.
I've got an interview tomorrow morning, wish me luck. _________________

No apology is necessary--that's a rotten situation to be in. I spent a few years in that situation, so you have my sympathy and very best wishes. Good luck with that interview!
I don't really do resolutions, but this is the year I really make some hard decisions and move forward with my life. Also, like a number of other people here, I want to write more. I've got a project that's been sitting half-finished on my hard-drive for uh, three years now? It's kind of embarassing. _________________ 'Tis time, 'tis time! |

As the Passerby said, absolutely no need for apology. It's a crappy situation to be in. I've been there before and will likely be there again by the end of this year, bleg. The job market is absolutely shocking and very few people want to employ workers with chronic health conditions. D: _________________ Gryphons are better than dragons. Gryphons PURR. |

How did your job interview go?
And happy late new year everyone. I can't wait till 2013 so I can stop hearing all this rubbish over 2012 and the Mayans.
I wonder how many times they will play the movie 2012 this year? |

I felt it went pretty well. Not well enough though, they went with another applicant. Still looking, still sending out resumes.
I'm planning signing up for WIA tomorrow, see if maybe I can get some assistance getting some certifications to put after my name. See if a few more acronyms entice any employers, sadly the bachelor's degree doesn't seem to be doing it on it's own, even with the 7 years of experience. _________________

That stinks they went with someone else. Could be because they were less experienced as you so they weren't asking for the same pay they may of wanted less?
Certifications are nice. They can help with making you stand out from the crowd. As experience is good, but the certifications can help. |

Well, congratulations!
And thanks for wishing me luck, but what I meant is that in the past, I've had bad luck. But now that you'll be employed, you'll probably be making more than me. _________________ http://alienlife.thecomicseries.com/
