Indeed. Ration management is a challenge for peasants with no refrigeration.
Hee, that sounds fun. I keep hearing good things about that show; maybe I should watch it sometime. _________________ "The one concession a sane man will never yield the universe is that of considering it seriously."

Oh I definately recommend. But that would be coming from someone who also watches Avatar, The Last Airbender because it's classic. Totally loved that show to death. As did my entire family. And Teen Titans.
Okay I admit it, I like to watch shows that make me laugh. At least the shows I watch make sense. What is the point of Sponge Bob anyway? That show doesn't make sense at all. |

*wince* Sponge Bob makes my brain hurt. And this from a girl who used to watch Star Trek: The Animated Series. (Bright pink tribbles, man... Klingons in pastel... a cat-girl at communications... that show was such a trip...) _________________ Gryphons are better than dragons. Gryphons PURR. |

ROFL. That is awesome. It's so funny. I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't understand what the point of that show is. I started getting really weirded out when I had like five friends tell me it was the best thing that ever happened to cartoons.
...uh-huh. And I'm a 400 ft tall purple platypus bear with pink horns and silver wings. What are you smoking!?! To me that was like saying Digimon was better than Pokemon because Ash and Pikachu could enjoy such in depth conversations. ...right. |

I liked Digimon Frontier because the kids transformed and did the fighting themselves, rather than make their cute little animal friends do all kinds of violence for them. |

Same here. I actually used to hear my former classmates praising the show and think "You're 17! You can't be this dumb! It should be illegal!". Thankfully, I don't have to endure that anymore, since I graduated.

Yeaaah, that's something I never really liked about Pokémon, Digimon and the like. I kept expecting to hear in the news about kids training their dogs to fight each other for "badges". You know, like cockfighting. _________________ I am the Ice. |

Don't mention it! Some moron will do precisely that and they'll hunt down this forum and blame webcomics and the internet for the idiot kids! *grumble* I'm sorry, but when nine year old kids are getting their parents to buy them ultra-violent games and shows and then re-enacting them in the backyard, it's the parents who need their bollocks kicked, not the rest of the world. Man up and take responsibility, you idiots!
(I live in Australia, and thanks to a certain South Australian politician we no longer have an R-equivalent rating for videogames. Because kids were getting their hands on the violent stuff. *grumble* Never did it occur to him to make id checks a necessity for these games or anything, noooooo, he just takes bits of Silent Hill and Fallout 3 away from the rest of us. We are mature ADULTS and if we want a little bit of violence to take our minds off the stupidity we are subjected to daily, then we can HANDLE it! Sheeze! ...Okay, rant done now.) _________________ Gryphons are better than dragons. Gryphons PURR. |

Hah, well, let's hope they don't.
And while I don't envy your situation, it sounds like something my retarded country would do, to avoid the real issues. Of course, it would be useless, since our blackmarket is even more popular than the regular market... _________________ I am the Ice. |

I am so sick of politicians, it's not even funny. Every damn evening, there they are, bagging each other out, the old government blaming the new government for spending money to try and keep our economy running, and the new government blaming the old for not building up a decent surplus and for being so thoroughly in Bush's back pocket... ARGH! _________________ Gryphons are better than dragons. Gryphons PURR. |
