Oh snap, there goes my Cliché-O-Meter. I wish these things didn’t explode so violently; it always takes days to get the pieces out of the carpet.
It’s the other male lead of DM! You can’t see it here, but he has ivory skin, raven-black hair, interesting violet eyes, and a case of amnesia. I’d stay and type more, but my Cliché-O-Meter is starting to vibrate off the desk.
So this is Indra, the main character of That Other Story that I started in 1999. He’s a humble city guardsman who is knocked over and/or punched by three completely unrelated characters in the first chapter — and his life doesn’t exactly improve after that.
I’d like to say that I’m reworking the story because I’m enamored of the plot, but really I just like writing this guy into inconvenient situations. ♥
