I have some not-so-great news, and some better news.

The not-so-great news: After 10+ years of faithful service, our venerable modem has begun to fail. We were forced to order a new one, which is over $200 of unexpected expense (on top of the fact that we've been barely keeping up with basic living costs in the first place). >_<

Since the new modem is still a week away, and the old one is only intermittently functional, please be patient if we're slow to reply to any messages.

And the better news:

Since the last update, we've been treading water in terms of patronage, but thankfully received one kind donation. (Thank you, Jennifer!) ♥

BEHOLD! My entire monthly income:

As you can see, that doesn't even cover our rent. 😨

My co-author's income is just as low, and even with our powers combined, we've been struggling to keep up with the barest minimum living expenses.

Since the comic already consumes 110% of my time and energy (60+ hours per week), I literally cannot afford to take time away to look for other sources of income.

All I can do is keep working and keep asking for help.

Our current Patrons are amazingly kind and generous — please join me in thanking them for keeping us and the comic alive!

Now we simply need more people to help.

And we're so close. Even a few new Patrons could make all the difference for us.
