No worries! Given the information available, it could make sense either way. Wendel might've just been copying Errol's signature style.

Not in the current version, until now! IIRC, he showed up in two panels near the end of the old comic. (If anyone remembers him from that, I'll be extremely impressed.)

Ok, has Wendal been mentioned by any other character before?
I'm just curious as to what bearing/influence/meaning he has on the story or characters, is it strictly historical or will he appear again in the very near future, etc.
Minor hints would be appreciated, but it's understandable if you don't want to give away any spoilers.

Hmmm... a hint? I'll say he has already influenced the story in earlier pages, but only from offscreen until now. (There were two oblique references, and one more direct... thing... that will be associated with him later in retrospect. Nothing that readers would be expected to notice at this point, though!)

If Wendel will show up again (poor Bob), then I suspect Chuck will too. There's no way you can be good friends with someone only for them to disappear without leaving an impact. Personally, I hope the mysterious tattletale makes an appearance at some point. This whole adventure has his name on it. Traveling to the city to tattle to the academy headmaster? I'm sure he could contribute something...

Indeed, his tattling powers have only grown stronger over the years. Perhaps by the end of the story, he'll be able to tattle hard enough to save the world!

Does anyone know what happened to the webcomic Northwind?
I used to follow it until it stopped updating in Feb 2020. Now it has disappeared from the 'net altogether. I liked it and was hoping it would return eventually, but with it gone I'm left puzzled.
Maybe you should remove it from your recommended comics
