Our green haired friend can't catch a break. Rather bad rut he's in. He's needs a therapy bunny, methinks.

I actually really felt bad for him the last panel, poor thing.

Also the barkeep is growing on me, more and more, with his blunt dry wit.

I love how side and supporting characters keep stealing the show.

You just made my day, Aja. <3 I am so saving that.

Hopefully that makes him feel a little bit better.

There is just something wrong about that picture...

He has a drink with him...and since he was just kicked out of a bar...that means he went to another one...

*gasp* He clearly has a drinking problem! Think about it. He could go anywhere to recruit for his grand and noble quest, and yet, he chooses a place where alcohol is served. He doesn't need a therapy bunny (ok, he doesn't need JUST a therapy bunny), he needs to attend his AA meetings! Drinking is not the answer!

**Is thankful only one person here will catch the hypocrisy of that statement**

...Or it's a non-alcoholic drink which throws that theory out the window.

That's one smart bartender. But still, it's a good thing green-haired guy finally got a therapy bunny (and a nicely drawn one at that).

Now, Shadowstorm, I read that post. Now I understand the hypocrisy of that statement as well. Go to your AA meeting, Shadowstorm!

Ah, but you don't understand, because I don't drink alcohol! Not a single drop! Well, ok, on very rare occasions. I'm not much of a alcohol drinker.

No, I don't have this drinking problem either.

Th-that picture... so adorable...

*fzzt* *cute overload*

Man, if this is the kind of reward I get on oversleeping days, I should sleep in more often.

I beg to differ Shadow, it's entirely possible that drinking is the answer if you are asking the right question.

For example: "How do I get less thirsty?", clearly drinking is the most obvious and correct answer.
Now, I'll grant that there are many questions that drinking isn't a good answer for. How do I get to Carnegie Hall? Are you hiring? Can I buy a piece of cake? All of which would hardly be answered by the offer of a chilled drink.

And that's not even counting the times when drinking is a downright wrong answer. "How do I stop drowning?" Clearly, offering a person in that situation a chilled beverage isn't going to do them any good, and may (depending on the force with which the beverage is offered) result in jail time.

Of course, keep in mind that our mysterious green haired adventurer to be seems to be in rather dire financial straights at the moment, otherwise he'd have an adventuring party lined up and drooling at the sound of a fat coin purse (it's a Pavlovian response with adventuring types). Somehow, I doubt any of the bars in the city are going to open a tab for an unknown adventuring type so he's probably limited to drinking ice water, maybe some reheated coffee in the morning.
