Ahoy, mateys! Once again, it be that day of the year. A day honoring a simpler time. A time of swashbuckling, and grog. Of wenches and grog. Of grog, and...I'm sure there be other things, but they ain't important.

Now, get yer Pirate Talk on, or I'll see you to Davy Jones Locker! (Well, just one of you, I guess. It's not a very big locker. And you'll have to spend the whole day in there.)

Yarr... 'tis still within a week. Good enough, says I!

I may have fallen a bit behind schedule on actual acts o' piracy... what wi' the marathon comic-makin' and all... but I can still celebrate the occasion with a good ol'-fashioned sea shanty!

Ahoy there! Aye, ye made it within the week, and that's what counts. And there be no rule sayin' a pirate can't make a comic, says I!

And as fer yer inquiry...aye, me crew be properly sealed to the sea, says...me. But sailing my fleet....they be not. Too much....er...ballast. They'd sink the ships if they tried! But some of the lot still wanted to join the fleet, and as Commodore, who was I to say "narr"?

**Meanwhile, 20 fathoms beneath the water line...**

Cap'n #37: This not be what I had in mind when accepting a command of me own.

Cap'n #37: This be like flying kites, not commanding a vessel.

Cap'n #35: Hold yer voicebox! It be this or no participat'n at all!

Cap'n #37: Arr, there be more piractical things we could be doing! Like....dueling ninjas! And why sea pirates? Why not sky pirates? Or space pirates?
