So, apparently Monday was September 19th, or international talk like a pirate day.
Due to multiple people calling in sick at work, I was unable to talk like a pirate. In lieu of this, I am declaring this "Talk like an effete british super hero week".

Or you could just talk like a pirate instead.

Yaaarrrgh!!! I'da swore upon me pappy's watery grave I put Talk Like A Pirate Day on this year's calendar! But swearing be no use, for that grave be cursed anyway. And no doubt my calendar were changed by the evil ghost monkeys what come out on dark foggy nights to play pranks on the wicked and the damned. I knew I shoulda set them monkey traps!

O and by the watery way, if this week had Talk Like A Pirate Day, be that an omen what next week has Pretend Ye Be a Time Traveler Day?

Arrr, I need never worry bout missing the fabled "Talk like a time travelaaar" day, for I would be sure to sail the seas of time back and give myself a remindaaar before such an event should occur.

Aaarrgh! How did I be missin' the most seaworthy o' holidays? 'Twas I that put it on the calendar but a few months 'afore, and now I've gone and missed it! Arr, hearties, 'tis a sad, sad day when the memory fails ye. Truly, See is a proper shipmate for formin' this week into a second chance for the lot of us!
