*giggling* I love the tiny little drunken sillouette guys prancing around with their arms around each other. XD Esp. since they're still doing it in the last panel. Love the detail! And HOLY CROW those are the most MASSIVE STAIRS in the HISTORY OF EVER! How could anyone even possibly get up those without having a heart attack?!
They would probably claim it's to make their headquarters/school look impressive, but I bet it was just the only way they could be sure that their lazy drinking students actually got their daily exercise.
And on a final note, I love you for that fantastic and realistic -city-lights-at-night-from-way-up-high-in-the-rain view, Aja. Simply lovely. ^^ _________________ "“If the English language made any sense, lackadaisical would have something to do with a shortage of flowers.”

That's odd--I looked at it and saw the MOST MASSIVE SLIDE in the history of ever. Or, at the moment, WATER SLIDE. (Hometropolis must have some major storm drains to keep the runoff from flooding the streets! Spacious Sewers indeed.) Totally worth the climb.
Loving the rain-shrouded lightscape. It's one of my favorite ways to see a city, and you pulled it off beautifully, Aja. _________________ 'Tis time, 'tis time! |

Thank you kindly! That panel was a lot of fun to shade. :D
The stairs are the ultimate DEX/CON check. If you can prance your way to the top in the rain without falling to your doom, the instructors will be impressed enough to forgive you for sneaking out of the Academy. (At least, that's Jen's theory.)

I don't know -- that pavement is a little rough. If you tried to slide all the way down, you'd probably run out of pants before you reached the bottom.
Might be worth a try with a sled, though. Or an especially sturdy peasant. _________________ "The one concession a sane man will never yield the universe is that of considering it seriously."
