You know, young people want to be older, old people want to be younger, and teenagers want to be any other age. there's no pleasing anybody these days. Peeved

Nahh. I'll be pleased when I hit that age where I look like Pierce Brosnan at 40. Even if it takes ma a hundred years to do it!

Happy belated birthday, See! Don't let any birthday candles get too close to your box. Low-Tech Eureka!

Brady, you'll get there one day. Your dashing good looks will be the envy of all the other centenarians. :D

...Come to think of it, I remember believing that 11 was the perfect age at the time, and deciding to stay there. Haven't changed my mind yet.

Awww, don't be so modest, Tulsileaf! I know you've been counting down the days to my birthday all year!
Anyway, my birthday was fun. I had Thai food with four of my friends, and I successfully managed to keep two art nerds and two math/astrophysics nerds talking to each other. After my birthday, things weren't so good. A haircut revealed a hidden bald spot. But the good news is it's right where my hair tends to stick up and look ridiculous, so I look forward to being rid of all the hair in that square inch of my head.

Happy Birthday, Brady, and nice to meet you. ^^ I'm new. (To the forum, anyways.) So I take it from the comments that I'm reading here that you aren't a human. How many different species frequent this forum, our of curiosity?

Not true! I am sure that babies quite appreciate the age they are at. When their brains are working well enough to appreciate anything at all, anyway. But you dont' hear them complaining, so surely that counts!
But yes, beyond that, people in general are just so picky. Always wanting what they don't have.

*sees that the cake is dry and the ice cream is melted*

Er... hm.

*gives cookies instead*

All I know about for sure is one dragon, one demi-Olympian, and one unknown cardboard-box-based entity.

And perhaps now an otter!

...Anyone I'm missing?

Does insane alchemist count? *giggle*

Happy belated birthday, my dear Brady! Apologies for not congratulating you earlier, I have been caught up in something of a creative madness lately. Tis most refreshing!

It's always worrying when a self proclaimed "Insane Alchemist" uses the words " creative madness" in a sentence...
