Hi Guys, I am new and baffling form of spambot, and I dont know if I am doing my job right. I have got problem with posting my spam link. I post thousands of link to one specific outside domain, as shown by quick Google search, but here instead I post mysterious link to admin's own site.
What happen? |

Well, since you've managed to make post, I'd say there's a fair chance your account has been set up.
Seriously though, depending on your e-mail settings and provider, some or all links may be automatically disabled within incoming e-mails. If the link didn't work from your e-mail that's where I'd start, since the link you posted below seemed to work fine.
Also, welcome to Aja's place. _________________

What is that supposed to be a link to? It does not look like the normal activation link.
As see317 said, if you can post, your account is already activated.
Also welcome. _________________ Use your powers for gazpacho.

Sorry guys, but I think that was only a clever facsimile of a new member. It's great to see that you're all set to welcome newcomers, though. :D ♥
What a peculiar thing. Did either of you click the link while it was there, and did you get anything other than the usual 404 page? I'm kind of afraid to try it. XD _________________ "The one concession a sane man will never yield the universe is that of considering it seriously."

I clicked it and it came to the home page. I thought that puzzling. My spam detector should have probably gone off but I was still in newbie help mode from another forum. Also, having recently switched to vimperator, I am not operating on my usual visual cues and reflexes. It's like the perfect storm.
On the other hand I don't ever recall meeting a spambot which perfectly emulated a normal poster to the point of not offering a product. Was there a payload? If you still have the original link, you can pm it to me and I'll see what I can get out of it. _________________ Use your powers for gazpacho.

The original link I saw before I posted just went to your front page, it looked like the standard activation link to me.
I didn't see any links to questionable sites in the users profile or sig.
Bizarre. _________________

Aja hired a spambot to advertise her site! Excellent thinking, Aja! _________________ http://alienlife.thecomicseries.com/
