I'm 25 years old today! (Yes, my birthday IS the day immediately after my father. My sister shares her birthday with our Nan. We aim to please, her better than me.)
It's awesome, because, you know... It's a full quarter of a century and there was some doubt that I was gonna make it this far for a while, so, boo-ya for beating the doctors predictions if nothing else. But on the other hand it kinda sucks, because there were sooooooooooooooo many things I wanted to have done by now that just aren't going to happen...
I am so conflicted.
(And yes, I am posting this at 3am. Sleep is overrated.)

Congrats! My friend's birthday was yesterday as well. I know my friend is not your father because she turned 26 ... unless your father is about 1 year older than you. 
Anyways, the goat is still here from Bones' party.

Hey, it could happen. I once hit on a waitress who said she's 38. I soon found out her mom's birthday's coming up, and when I asked her how old her mom is, she said 22. I admit, that must have been awkward growing up. "I'm sorry. I can't go to the prom because I have to babysit my mom."

Must suck to have your dad marry someone young enough to be your daughter...

I spent the day at a friend's place watching a DVD of the Doug Anthony All Stars (and if you're laughing now, I know who I want to spend my weekend with) and playing Dissidia like mad. I'm now at home watching Top Gear, surfing the net and drinking champagne for the first time since New Year's Eve 2002. Bubbles!

*ahem* On the other hand happy birthday, and yes it is a day to be celebrated, after all, it only happens once a year and on that day people are supposed to do everything they can to make it awesome for you. Therefore the day is yours to do with as you please in the name of it being your birthday. I call it a good day. |
