Wild mass speculation time!

* Jen and Joe are siblings.

* Riku and Henson are siblings. Shocked

* Bob is the red-haired stepchild!

Man, you too? That eye thing totally bothered me enough that I spent thirty minutes looking up how it was controlled. My results seem to be: "It's complicated."

I hereby submit that they are all fraternal quintuplets.

Now wait a second. It's been a few years since Bio but that's not the percentages I remember from genetics.

Brown (B) is a dominante and blue (b) a recessive.

Assuming both parents had brown eyes and possesed the recessive trait the spread is still

BB Bb
Bb bb

for a 25% chance of blue eyes.

If one parent had blue eyes and the other brown with recessive

Bb bb
Bb bb

Then you get a 50% split.

Of course, all of this is besides the point since the nobles can make fireballs in their hands.

Well, Joe and Jen are both blonde and have alliterative names, and I think the comment Joe's mother made about Jen is a little suspicious.

Oh, good point! The fireball gene certainly seems to be an inherited trait! This brings up some interesting questions. I must form a thesis! Monocle

Anyways, the 25/50/25 ratio is only produced by one gene. While a 2x2 Punnet Square does explain some traits (gender, for example), a lot of them aren't quite so simple. The journal article I read before getting distracted seem to indicate that eye color is controlled by either two or three different genes that they've located, and even those ones don't explain the patterns in the eye (dark/light rings near the pupils, stuff like that). From what I could tell, it doesn't seem like they have it completely worked out yet.

Not to derail the topic, but I have to say I've never seen anyone as happy as Jen to have their staff spring a concealed knife. I like her. :D

Oh, and it is VERY efficient.

Her face made me laugh too. Also, Joe ties a very pretty bow.

Now I'm wondering what's hiding in the broom.

::looks at her crook:: I may have to take mine to be customized! However, it would have a rocket launcher in it instead or a flame throwing would be nice.
