So I stumbled upon this comic a looooong time ago, and only recently it occurred to me to check the forums. You all seem like a friendly if slightly hyper bunch, so I figured I might as well pop in and say hello.
Hello.
But that's not all. I also wanted to thank Aja for the amazing Christmas wallpaper she so generously put up last week. So, I love the comic, the witty humour and the amazing art. Oh, and I have found the Links section to be enormously useful, by the way. |

Well hello! Welcome to the forum, Paul.
You're very welcome for the wallpaper. It's great to hear that you've enjoyed it along with the comic and other parts of the site.
Slightly hyper atmosphere notwithstanding, I hope you'll enjoy it here. _________________ "The one concession a sane man will never yield the universe is that of considering it seriously."

Wow! The Great Aja herself posted on my thread! (It's a "her", right?) I'm honoured.
Um, sorry for the delay in answering, I was on vacations (at the beach, ugh). I did enjoy it, your drawing style is just the kind I like in artists.
Hah! I hope the same, and I'm sure I will. Thanks for the welcome! _________________ I am the Ice. |

Sure thing. :D
(And yes, it's a "her" -- although apparently the avatar has caused some confusion now and then, heh.) _________________ "The one concession a sane man will never yield the universe is that of considering it seriously."

Hah, yeah. You must really like Henson, then. That's odd, I had expected you'd either like Jen (the Chick of the group) or Kiku (the official Bad Boy) instead. Henson seems heroic and all, but he's the default Nice Guy.
Oh, and sorry for all the unnecessary capitalization. TVTropes has indeed ruined my life. _________________ I am the Ice. |

It's true. I actually can't decide on a favorite character, so Mr. Hero is my default avatar choice. (Also, that expression is a pretty good match for mine most of the time.)
Heh, I sympathize. TVTropes has also ruined my vocabulary. (My room mate has barely even visited the site, and she's already picked up a lot of it. We routinely use terms like "Fridge Logic" in everyday conversation.) _________________ "The one concession a sane man will never yield the universe is that of considering it seriously."

Well, it's a good choice, to tell the truth. If you don't know which one to pick, the default leader is usually the default choice. What a coincidence, my two most used expressions in real life are and /facepalm.
Yeah, I know. You wouldn't believe how hard it is for me to talk about TV shows, books and plays; and having to explain my terms constantly. But I've "domesticated" my best friend, who has never visited the site either, but we use tropes in everyday conversation as well. _________________ I am the Ice. |

I remember though when Aja had Jen as her avatar.
I think that was around the time she drew some pages with the left hand.

Really? I was around the late stages of the first version of the comic, and I can't quite recall such a period. But pehaps it's one of those "in-jokes" I hear so much about. :D _________________ I am the Ice. |

Oh hey, I'm surprised you remember that left-handed experiment. :D That was a while ago.
That's right, Jen was my avatar for a long time. Also (because surely everyone wants to know!), at various times I had Gauth, the Henchcaptain, The Don, Lord Octopod, and a lolcat.
Totally not fickle. _________________ "The one concession a sane man will never yield the universe is that of considering it seriously."
