Whelp, the operation was done yesterday, I am home and comfortable.
And surprisingly cheerful, all things considered. _________________ Gryphons are better than dragons. Gryphons PURR. |

So far, so good. I'm developing some interesting bruises along the jaw, but otherwise I'm good. _________________ Gryphons are better than dragons. Gryphons PURR. |

Bet you get all kinds of interesting looks when you go out...
Remember when my mom had some surgery on her jaw that left some nasty looking bruises. My dad got more dirty looks while they faded.
Still, glad to hear you're feeling better. This board would be a less squeeful place without you around. _________________

I've not really felt up to going out yet, damn medications are having some interesting side-effects that are pretty much enforcing the 'take it easy' advice.
My dad said the bruises make me look like I'm growing mutton-chops today. I felt entirely justified in smacking him for that one. _________________ Gryphons are better than dragons. Gryphons PURR. |

Hey, bruises are awesome! THey are the visible sympathy-gatherers! Plus you can go up to random relatives, friends, and acquaintances and point at your jaw and say, "Look at the SIZE of these things? Isn't it awesome?"
...Oh wait, maybe that's just me. I am very proud of showing off any type of war wound, to the point that I occasionally come off as a complete geek. But most people already know that about me, so I don't have as much to worry about! ^^
Hope you feel better soon, Xiao!

Dang. That would be REALLY awkward. ^^; _________________ "“If the English language made any sense, lackadaisical would have something to do with a shortage of flowers.”

You could take this as an opportunity to go for that vintage early 19th century look.
Glad you're getting better.

....Pffff. XD I remember that from my brief stint of reading that comic. Yes, bruises and scars and teethmarks are the ULTIMATE sign of true love...wait. _________________ "“If the English language made any sense, lackadaisical would have something to do with a shortage of flowers.”
