Yes. Thankyou.

Yeah, thanks Tulsi for explaining that ... to the 13-year-old. It's important for them to know these sort of things that... you and me take for granted, you know. You don't want them to go around thinking that 128 bits is one byte and 256 bits is two bytes, like... like all us adults know isn't the case.
On another note, I'm impressed by your grammatical skills, especially in the phrase "but also I because like run-on sentences". _________________ http://alienlife.thecomicseries.com/

Would this be a bad time to point out that you are unlikely to see a computer that actually stores numerical information in bytes ever again?
Simply because of the limitations that form presents, and the fact that with the memory limits it's easier and quicker to just allocate more memory to the number field when you initialize it. _________________

That depends on the application. Scientific computing will use whatever is fastest on the hardware.
As long as we're being pedantic, I doubt anyone stores integers numerically using less than four bytes with modern CPUs. _________________ Use your powers for gazpacho.

I do. My brain's CPU functions on about three and a half bytes. My cat bit off about half a byte, and I don't know where it is. _________________ http://alienlife.thecomicseries.com/
