Yeah, sponges have some advantages over balloons, they're reusable, don't leave debris, they have a larger spread area of water soakage, you're guaranteed to get wet, they don't hurt as much, etc. (I've seen water balloon hits where the target only got a little bit of water on them; the rubber of the balloon protects them somewhat from the payload.) They have their cons though.

So Bob has suspicions about Richard, interesting.

Bob is a pretty cautious guy. Cool

Too bad we didn't learn the identity of the mysterious tattletale. Sometimes I lie awake at night and wonder if he and Joe eventually became friends. Maybe even go on an adventure together with the others, perhaps to somewhere outside of Homeville. Skeptical

Speaking of Bob, I think young Willem Dafoe could play him in the live action adaptation.

Well, you know how it is: a story needs to have some long-running mysteries. Nudge Nudge

(Whoa, I didn't know Willem Dafoe had such nice hair!)

Speaking of nice hair, here's more of that stylish bowlcut you've all been clamoring to see:

I aim to please. Cool

I suspect he's using double-sided tape to prevent the hat from falling off that stylish bowlcut.

Errol the Fair

Man, I wish I could read more about the history of this world that we only get passing hints at. I totally get Wendel's frustration.

Based on the name, I'm going to guess Errol's statuesque depiction here is a gross exaggeration and that the real Errol is more on the minuscule side.
