Prestidigitation

For Karen! This is her Changeling character, Masque:

Once again, the official description says it best: “Masque is a manikin, a young woman who was abducted from earth into the Fae lands and remade into a living doll made of porcelain and steel. She is remote, unable to change her facial expression, because it is now a porcelain mask.”

It was hard not to get a crick in my neck while inking that mask. XD But this was still super-fun to draw and shade. Black leather Victorian dresses FTW. ♥

For Brian! This is his character Hawkfeather, a modern-age shaman who strives to live a normal life amidst various supernatural goings-on. He’s a bit tired from dealing with the frequent paranormal weirdness and a day job:

For Karen! This is Mia, leader of a pack of ocean-going werewolves:

Her official description says it best: “Mia’s concept is that of the den mother. She has a young son she can’t be with, and so she sublimates that into the desire of taking care of the young of her kind – all of them. She is a den mother as a mother wolf is – dedicated, watchful, tender and caring to her ‘puppies’ and yet frighteningly determined to kill or die for them without yielding.”

This is a bit off-topic, but this project got me thinking: Don’t wolfsong and whalesong sound oddly similar?
