…The result of playing around in Photoshop. Since there’s no built-in auto symmetry function (is there??) I recorded a custom Action as the next-best thing. Now I can erase the left half of a layer, duplicate the right half, flip the copy horizontally and merge it back down just by pressing F5. 
Very handy for character/costume design.

For Brian! This is his character Hawkfeather, a modern-age shaman who strives to live a normal life amidst various supernatural goings-on. He’s a bit tired from dealing with the frequent paranormal weirdness and a day job:
But at least he has his crow buddies to hang out with.

“Ah, Drumknott… be so good as to escort this googly-eyed creature elsewhere.”
“Certainly, sir. And the crab?”
“It can stay.”
P.S. That is a real hat, and someday I will own it. 8D I tried it on at a custom hat booth at the Discworld convention last year. It was like… the ultimate pirate’s dream hat. Three-foot-long white feathers and roses all over the place, with a little model ship on the back. SO FABULOUS.
