Jessica Alba
The previous three entries were all attempts at a more realistic style, but done without reference (necessarily, what with the characters being fictional and all). This is the first of three that I’ve done with a photo handy:

This one and the next two are already in the gallery, but I’m posting them here in case I take them out of there later. I still haven’t decided whether the gallery should be for colored and finished art only, or if sufficiently polished sketches are also good to include there… Anyone have a preference?

Include sufficiently polished ’sketches’ in the gallery. I’m trying to decide what it means that I like your sketch better than the actual picture. The sketch is prettier than the actual picture! But should I interpret a cynical undercurrent of ‘everyone looks better once an artist has lain hands on their image, magazines must hire dozens,’ or just leave it as a compliment to the artist? This deserves consideration and mulling. Like ale.

Heh heh, thanks.
All right, I’ll keep them in the gallery for now.
I hear they really do hire artists for fashion magazines. Apparently even before they invented Photoshop, people were airbrushing pictures of models by hand.
