J16 – The Birds
For Zela! Who wanted to see more of our birds:
Pinky actually moved out earlier this month. We have a second budgie, instead, to keep Alf company. We’re still trying to think of a name for the newbie.
Note: Alf has been trained to eat healthy pellets instead of tasty seeds. But newbudgie still needs his diet converted, so seeds are back in the cage for a while… and someone has been taking full advantage of the feasting opportunity. (He assures us that the weight he’s gaining is all muscle.)

Tell us when you name the newbie! And if you’re looking for suggestions, I would totally recommend Sparticus. Just because. You can call him Sparty for short. (Or if it’s a girl, Gwen.)

I’m sad to hear that your beautiful Pinky had to find a new home. But hopefully his move went smoothly and he is livin’ la vida avian in his new abode!
New-budgie is probably one of the cutest bird sketches I have ever seen. Srsly. <3
