J16 – Java and the High Priest
This is for Liliy, who wanted to see those two priestly fellows from the prologue:

I missed drawing those guys, too. ♥
(Why is it a motivational poster? I think I’ve been reading too much ICHC.)

That is beautiful. XD
It fits Java perfectly!

Ha ha; That’s just… so cute. Java looks so very happy. XD Ah, come ‘on High Priest! You know ya’ wanna join in.
Because we all know attacks of mass destruction start out with sparkling displays of pretty. All he has to do is bring his arms down and BOOM! Mountain gone. Totally.

…and for the record – this is now totally my desktop at work. XD

::snort:: enough said.
January 19th, 2009 at 8:55 PM
That’s really cute!
January 19th, 2009 at 9:17 PM
I LOVE IT!
Mwahahahaa… Java is so cute.
January 19th, 2009 at 10:13 PM
Ohh! It would of been awesome if he had written his name with his firey-lightning stuff! Of course this si totally awesome too!
January 20th, 2009 at 3:31 AM
oh sweet! haha Java looks so happy.
January 20th, 2009 at 7:14 AM
Now all we need is a message on fire safety from this duo, and their plan for world domination will truly be set in motion.
January 20th, 2009 at 10:00 AM
XD Java is awesome! You gotta love out happy-go-lucky clueless fire priest. Don’t be a lame-o, High Priest: you can have people pay to see him do exhibitions at fairs! (I know I’D want to see a guy who could make giant hearts out of fire. 8D)
The motivational poster look is great, lol.
January 20th, 2009 at 6:16 PM
Oh! I have another idea: not only could Java do well at fairs, he could be the pyrotechnician for a band! “Burning Hearts” or “Hearts of Flame” or something like that. Or maybe “Shining Hearts.” Now we just have to decide if their style would be closer to 80s glam rock or sappy ballads from the 90s (Celine Dion, anyone?)…
January 20th, 2009 at 9:23 PM
Hmmm…*ponders* I can totally see Java as being a hyperactive 80s rocker. But would he play an instrument? Or, OOO! He could be the lead vocalist, and then he would have his hands free! *hopes that Java doesn’t have a horrible screechy singing voice*
January 20th, 2009 at 9:54 PM
Ha ha; High Priest probably plays the accompanying piano.
January 21st, 2009 at 12:12 AM
Haha, 80s glam rock sounds like a good idea. If nothing else, I love the mental image of them having foot-tall mullets under their hats. XD
P.S. Java has the perfectly smooth voice of a boy band singer. The High Priest, on the other hand, sounds like this.

*is busy trying to download that vid on her sad, slow dial-up connection*
You know, this is a perfect example of something they could have done to use their powers for good–entertainment! If only Java hadn’t been sent out for coffee…the world of True Magic could have turned out very differently. Performing artist priests, impassioned musical numbers, fantastic stage shows, indoor theater venues (because after all, they couldn’t wait until after dark to make the most of their light-shows)–the list goes on and on!
January 21st, 2009 at 12:31 PM
…It’s actually not at all hard imagining the High Priest singing that song, lol.
I agree, KitFang; what could be more helpful to society than free stage performances at all the local venues?
NOW we need to name the band. ‘The Priests’? ‘Jave and the Fireballs’? ‘Hearts of Fire’?
January 21st, 2009 at 4:31 PM
Why can’t they have the band AND torment the commoners? THey’re all powerful…they can FORCE them to listen.
Go Java! You can still have your light show! *throws confetti* Have the cake and eat it too, boys.

I now feel the urge to memorize that song. Thanks for that.

You should! You never know when it might come in handy.

Tis a picture made of pure win
I like Javas attitude so very much, although mentioning him makes me crave coffe.
January 31st, 2010 at 5:40 AM
Thanks!
Ah, coffee cravings.
It is a known side effect of being around him. (Maybe that’s why the High Priest is so edgy.)

*SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!* Java’s adorable XD! Love it! And the high priest in the background is my brother all over when I’ve done something dippy… XD
Somebody give the High Priest a hug. I’d love to see his face… =P
