Comic Retrospective 2009
Just a quick mini-project. I found characters who appeared on the same page in both versions of the comic, and pasted them up next to each other.
Why? For science!
Ah, good old you-know-what. I really can’t wait to get back to that part. ♥
I’m also happy to see that my admittedly rushed and flawed comic art of today is still noticeably better than what I was drawing five years ago. XD

I think my favorite and most significant change is the improved and newly more plot-important Bob and Joe. I really liked Bob before…but now I love him. And you’ve even made me love Joe! The rest of the cast already had my love…so now…they just get more? Truly. It’s a love-fest all around.
You have indeed come a long way! This is a lovely way of showcasing your changes! Three cheers for Aja! Three cheers for True Magic! Three cheers for character development! Three cheers for—okay I’ll stop.
What can I say? I’m a rather sleep-deprived little Kit at the moment. X3

Indeed! I’m glad you like that part. I’ve been having much more fun with Bob and Joe this time around. (Well, with everyone, actually — but it’s easier to tell with them.)
Three cheers for nice comments! And three cheers for sleep! …Which I also kind of should have had six or seven hours ago. Ahem. I think I’ll go correct that oversight now. XD

Quite a revamp. It’s amazing what a few years of drawing can do to your art style. *looks at her own old artwork* Yup. Different. XD

LOL… this is really funny to me, having never seen the old version of TM. XD (ffffff I dunno what “you-know-what” is, teasing me like this Aja) Dang but your art skills improved! It’s like both versions have completely different character. Also, everyone’s hotter now. (Kikuuuu)

Indeed, if you ever get into an art slump, going back to look at what you were drawing a few years ago is always quite cheering.

Ah yes, Gau. He was such a cute little guy in FF6. (And I was amused to note that he also has a green ponytail.) XD
