Zombie Hecklers

Trevor and Victor

These are two of the protagonists from a more recent project. Their story takes place in an alternate version of the 1980s, where certain technology is farther advanced than our own, and zombies are well integrated into society. Our heroes don’t exactly get along with them, though.

(Why 1980s? So that the characters have an excuse for their hair and fashion sense. Why zombies? ‘Cause this started out as a NaNoWriMo novel, and that’s the sort of thing one comes up with in November.)

Stretch Harley-Davidson?

One more free sketch, because I can! This is for Jessica, who wanted to see a stretch Harley-Davidson:

I think this is the first time I’ve tried to draw a vehicle more complex than a horse. I still don’t know what most of those mystery parts in the photo are about, but it was fun to draw something vaguely similar. ♥

Of the three portraits I’ve attempted so far, this is the one I like most. ♥

Bizarrely, all that fancy brocade didn’t give me nearly as much trouble as the man-lipstick. I re-drew it about five times, and in the end all that effort just meant that it was darker and more obvious than anything else in the picture. Alas!
